Pakistan theatre festival to start from September 8
Theater companies from seven different nations will be performing in the arts council's theater festival.
Karachi: Pakistan Theater Festival organized by Arts Council of Pakistan is going to start from September 8 Friday, where 45 theater shows will be presented in 30 days.
President of Arts Council Karachi Muhammad Ahmad Shah stated during a press conference announcing the Pakistan Theater Festival 2023 that Arts Council has offered a platform for theater companies and artists from Pakistan and around the world to participate.
He said that theater companies from seven different nations will be performing in the arts council's theater festival, which would feature 45 performances spread over 30 days in Urdu, English, Persian, Sindhi, and Punjabi.
In addition to praising the media for supporting such major brands as the World Urdu Conference, Pakistan Literature Festival, and the Youth Festival, he stated that the media plays a significant role in showing the favorable image of the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi throughout the world.
He stated that the council was striving to incorporate theater into the curriculum and that the council was concentrating more on education. He also mentioned that numerous workshops are featured in the festival.
Moreover, Director and performer Manoor Saeed claimed that Ahmed Shah and Sajid Hasan's labor of love went into making Pakistan Theater Festival a huge success.
