Islamabad: Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq Kakar said that he is ready for the election, even if it has to be held in 90 days. The order of the Supreme Court will be fully implemented.
In an interview to private TV, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul-Haq said: “As a party, we are not against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), we are against those who vandalized and attacked national installations and set fire”. They are opposed because the law of Pakistan is against such acts.
The caretaker prime minister added that general elections may be held before January-February. The Election Commission has to announce the date, if it announces the date, then we should also complete the relevant preparations and go home after fulfilling the constitutional duty of supporting Election Commission.
“Whatever decision the Supreme Court gives regarding election will be implemented, the voter of Pakistan has the right to vote for whomever he wants, there will be no interference,” he said adding that things will be fine gradually, everyone should hold rallies in the general elections and speech will be allowed.
Kakar said that he would look into this and will vote for the party that brings the program of economic reforms.
The caretaker premier continued to say that on one hand there are expectations of people and on the other hand a section is looking at the mandate, we have not come for a long period and we have no such intention.
Therefore, we are saying that if there is any misunderstanding regarding the period, then it should be cleared. We have been given authorities of some difficult decision in the economic field that political party could not take in the future. Difficult decisions would benefit the public. Whatever party forms government in future will be able to continue the decisions of this period.
