LHC disposes of petition regarding recovery of Imran Riaz
After the report of the police officers, the court disposed of this petition.
Lahore: The Lahore High Court (LHC) Tuesday disposed of the petition related to the recovery of senior journalist, anchorperson and YouTuber Imran Riaz Khan.
According to details, the police officers presented the report in front of the court and told that Imran Riaz Khan has reached home.
After the report of the police officers, the court disposed of this petition.
It is pertinent to note that journalist and YouTuber Imran Riaz Khan had recovered and reached home yesterday.
District Police Officer (DPO) Sialkot Hasan Iqbal said that Imran Riaz has been brought home safely and is now with his family.
It is believed that Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) team arrested Imran Riaz Khan on his way to Dubai from Lahore in February this year for making a controversial statement.
Even before this, in July 2022, the immigration authorities had offloaded anchor Imran, who was on bail, for trying to go to Dubai from Lahore.
According to FIA sources, anchor Imran Riaz tried to go to Dubai from Lahore Airport, but as his name was blacklisted, he was offloaded and sent back home.
