Four Saudi-bound beggars under the guise of Umrah arrested
According to the spokesman, half of the money earned through begging was to be given to the agent.
Lahore: Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested four suspects who were travelling to Saudi Arabia to beg under the guise of Umrah.
According to details, the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Lahore of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) arrested four suspects, including two women and two men.
The spokesperson of FIA said that the accused were offloaded by FIA Immigration at Lahore Airport. They have gone to Saudi Arabia, Iran and Iraq several times to beg. The accused were to be received by Pakistani agents on arrival in Saudi Arabia.
According to the spokesman, half of the money earned through begging was to be given to the agent.
The spokesperson of FIA added that the investigation has been started by registering a case against the accused and the agents.
