New gas reserves discovered in Sindh

Karachi: New gas reserves have been discovered in the Khairpur district of Sindh.

Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has announced the discovery of new gas reserves in Sindh.

In a statement released by OGDCL, it has been announced that hydrocarbon deposits have been discovered in Akhiro-1 well located in Khairpur district of Sindh.

According to the statement, Sawan South Joint Venture has discovered gas from the Lower Gore B reservoir sands of Akhiro-1 well located in Khairpur district, but no details about the quantity of gas have been disclosed.
