Currently, petrol is being sold at Rs249.10 per litre


Islamabad: Due to the cut in crude oil prices in the international market, there is a possibility of a decrease in the prices of petroleum products in Pakistan from October 1.
According to the media reports, the price of petroleum products is expected to decrease by Rs3, including petrol by Rs1 per liter and diesel by Rs3 per liter.
It is also reported that the final announcement of the prices of petroleum products will be made on September 30 by the Finance Minister in consultation with the Prime Minister.
It is pertinent to note that on September 15, the prices of petroleum products were greatly reduced by the federal government.
Currently, petrol is being sold at Rs249.10 per litre, High-Speed Diesel (HSD) at Rs249.69 per litre, light diesel at Rs141.93 per litre, while kerosene is being sold at Rs158.47 per litre.
