The Pakistan Army contingent has won the silver medal in the international military competition.
The Exercise Cambrian Patrol, held in the United Kingdom, is considered one of the toughest and most prestigious military competitions in the world.
Military and Air Attaché of the Pakistan High Commission in London Colonel Taimur Rahat provided details about the competition and the Pakistan Army contingent.
He said that this is one of the toughest NATO competitions at the international level, which has been held since 1959.
Taimur Rahat added that 113 teams including India participated in the competition. Major Osama and Major Haseeb are credited for the success of Pakistani team.
Colonel Taimur stated that the teams participate in 48-hour-long exercises in an area of 60 kilometers. The Pakistani contingent comprising soldiers of the 67th Punjab Regiment was led by Lieutenant Owais Usman.
Earlier on June 1 this year, Pakistan finished second in the international military exercise known as the 'Peace Sticking Competition' held at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst.
