PML-N to not issue tickets to party criticizing leaders
The leaders will have the freedom to criticize and disagree in the party meeting.
Lahore: The top leadership of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has decided to tighten the party discipline saying that the party leaders will not express the points of disagreement on any platform, criticizing leaders can also face tickets denial in the upcoming general elections.
According to media reports, important decisions have been taken in the meeting of the top leadership of PML-N in which it has been decided to tighten party discipline, and important guidelines have been formulated before the return of PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif.
The leaders will have the freedom to criticize and disagree in the party meeting, however, no leader will express the points of disagreement on any platform, reports added.
The reports stated that no party policy will be criticized on electronic or social media, strict action will be taken against leaders who do not implement the decision.
Reports told that it has been decided in the meeting that the party leader who violates the party discipline will be given a show cause notice in the first stage. Leaders who do this can also be denied tickets in elections.
This important decision has been taken to prevent disgruntled leaders from entering the party, and instructions have been given to all party leaders by the party's top leadership, reportedly.
