The seismic activity also reverberated beyond Nepal, with tremors felt in the neighboring Delhi-NCR region.
The epicenter of this seismic event was pinpointed in Dhading, approximately 55 kilometers to the west of the capital city, Kathmandu.
According to the European Mediterranean Seismological Center, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 13 kilometers beneath the Earth's surface.
As of the latest reports, there have been no casualties or significant damage to property resulting from the earthquake.
Nonetheless, residents in various districts within the Bagmati and Gandaki provinces experienced unsettling tremors, prompting concerns about the region's seismic vulnerability.
