Nawaz Sharif to surrender before IHC today
The former Prime Minister's appeals against conviction in NAB references will also be heard today.
Islamabad: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) chief and former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will surrender before the Islamabad High Court (IHC) today (Tuesday).
According to details, Islamabad High Court Chief Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Mian Gul Hasan Aurangzeb will hear the petitions.
The Islamabad High Court had approved the protective bail of Nawaz Sharif till date and barred police from arresting him.
National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had expressed no objected regarding the provision of protective bail to Nawaz Sharif.
The former Prime Minister's appeals against conviction in NAB references will also be heard today.
On the other hand, the hearing of Toshakhana case against Nawaz is scheduled today in the Accountability Court Islamabad.
The Accountability Court judge Muhammad Basheer is hearing the case where Nawaz Sharif's lawyer appeared in the court and requested some time for the hearing.
Responding to which, Judge Muhammad Bashir Court gave Nawaz Sharif time from one to one and a half hours to appear. In the previous hearing, the court had suspended Nawaz Sharif's permanent arrest warrant till October 24.
