Caretaker PM, Finance Minister’s asset details come to light

Islamabad: A private new channel claims a report regarding details of the caretaker Prime Minister Anwaar-ul- Haq Kakar and caretaker finance minister Shamshad Akhtar's assets.

According to the media reports, caretaker Prime Minister turned out to be the owner of assets worth more than Rs40.8182 million.

Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar has 20 acres of inherited agricultural land worth Rs8 million and Rs50,000 shares in Pakistan Chagai Mining Limited.

According to the report, the caretaker prime minister has revealed the value of 10 tola gold at Rs80,000, and the value of house furniture at Rs0.4 million. The caretaker prime minister has more than 22 million rupees in two banks accounts.

On the other hand, the details of the assets of finance minister Shamshad Akhtar also came to light. Shamshad Akhtar declared the price of a house located in Defense Housing Society (DHA) Phase VI Karachi worth Rs4 million, a plot in DHA Karachi worth Rs1,25,000.

The caretaker finance minister revealed that she got two lands as a gift from her father. She has a Naya Pakistan certificate worth Rs2.79 billion and shares in Pakistan States Oil (PSO) worth more than Rs0.3 million.

Shamshad Akhtar has disclosed Rs109.6 million in terms of Treasury bills (T-bills) and the value of house furniture at Rs2,00,000.

The caretaker finance minister has gold worth only Rs0.2 million, cash money worth Rs1.946 million and Rs3.924 million bank accounts.
