Sindh govt introduces new laws for child artists
According to the law, children will not be bound for late night recordings.


Karachi: Sindh Ministry of Culture has introduced two new laws named Children Drama Industry Ordinance and Sindh Actor Royalty Ordinance.
The caretaker provincial culture minister Junaid Ali Shah said that the working hours of children will be fixed under the Children's Drama Industry Ordinance.
According to the draft law, children working in dramas and films will not be called to work during school hours.
According to the law, children will not be bound for late night recordings.
The culture minister stated that action will be taken to call children for shooting during school hours and late at night. The education of children working in the industry will not be interrupted, it is desired that artist children continue their work and education simultaneously.
Junaid Ali Shah further said that the Child Protection Bureau and the police will take action on the violation of the ordinance.
