Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif took strict action for bringing the lion to the party’s political rally. He instructed to send the lion back immediately.
The former federal minister for information and broadcasting and PML-N’s spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb turned to microblogging website X and wrote that the lion was immediately sent back as Nawaz Sharif instructed that the lion or any other animal should not be brought to any rally.
Maryam Aurangzeb stated that the religion of Islam and laws related to animals have taught us to respect the rights of animals.
