Mumbai: The news of Pakistani vocalist Atif Aslam's potential return to Bollywood on Wednesday ignited tensions among Hindu extremist groups.

The latest reports from Indian media outlets said that the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), under the directive of Hindu extremist leader Raj Thackeray, has issued warnings to Bollywood producers against collaborating with the renowned Pakistani singer in Hindi cinema projects.

Ameya Khopkar, the president of the Cinema Wing, a faction associated with Hindu extremist groups, emphasized the need for individuals considering Atif Aslam for projects to heed judicial rulings and reconsider their decisions in light of recent events.
