T20 WC: Pakistani cricket team reaches Dallas
The national cricket team arrived in Dallas from London after participating in a four-match T20I series against defending champions England
Lahore: Pakistan cricket team reached Dallas on Friday to participate in the upcoming International Cricket Council (ICC) Men's T20 World Cup 2024.
Pakistan cricket team will play their first match in ICC T20 World Cup against host USA in Dallas on June 6. In Group A of T20 World Cup, the matches of Pakistan are scheduled against India, USA, Canada and Ireland.
The national cricket team arrived in Dallas from London after participating in a four-match T20I series against defending champions England.
In the mega event, Pakistan's high-voltage clash against India is scheduled on June 9 in New York. Pakistan team's third match is against Canada on June 11 in New York, then they will face Ireland on June 16 at Lauderhill.
The Green Shirts played three bilateral T20I series to prepare for the T20 World Cup 2024 but could not produce the desired results.
Pakistan squad for T20 World Cup 2024 includes captain Babar Azam, Saeem Ayub, Mohammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Azam Khan, Usman Khan, Iftikhar Ahmed, Imad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Mohammad Amir, Abbas Afridi, Naseem Shah, Haris Rauf and Abrar Ahmed.
