Islamabad: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) recorded statements of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan and Spokesperson Raoof Hassan on Wednesday.
According to FIA Cyber Crime sources, Raoof Hassan underwent questioning for four hours, while Barrister Gohar was interrogated for two hours.
The investigative team presented both leaders with a comprehensive questionnaire comprising 21 inquiries. These questions delved into matters such as the management of the PTI X account during their absence, authorization for content upload, and reasons for retaining the contentious tweet.
Sources revealed that both leaders provided individual written responses to the questionnaire. Additionally, they recorded separate statements after submitting their responses. Upon completion of the review process by the investigative team, they are slated for further summons.
Barrister Gohar Khan and Raoof Hassan expressed readiness to cooperate with the FIA as needed. They commended the FIA's hospitality in providing refreshments during the proceedings. Following the interrogation, Raoof Hassan departed without addressing media queries.
