Two people lost their lives in various incidents of electrocution in provincial capital Lahore


Lahore: Three people including a girl died and seven were injured in various accidents due to heavy rain in the provincial capital Lahore.
In the village of Baba Bhulay Shah Interchange near Gajumata area of Lahore, the roof of the TR Garder collapsed and six people were buried under the debris. As a result of the incident, one girl died while five people were shifted to the hospital with injuries.
The second incident of roof collapse took place near Shaukat Khanum Chowk and two persons were buried under the debris due to the roof collapse.
The rescue team provided first aid to one person while the other person was shifted to Jinnah Hospital in an injured condition.
Electrocution deaths
On the other hand, two people lost their lives in various incidents of electrocution in the provincial capital Lahore.
According to rescue officials, an unknown person was riding a motorcycle in the area of Nishat Colony, and due to the rain, the electric pole was electrocuted, as a result of which the unknown 30-year-old person lost his life on the spot.
It was also reported that the rescue teams took the body of the deceased into custody and shifted it to the hospital.
Meanwhile, a person died due to electric shock in the area of Kot Lakhpat police station. The deceased had left his house to go to the bread shop when he touched an electric pole while passing through the street and received a severe electric shock.
According to rescue team, the deceased passed away on the way to the General Hospital.
