Investigations have been started to register cases under Anti-Narcotics Act against arrested accused


Rawalpindi: Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) while conducting six operations across the country managed to recover 188kg drugs and arrested six accused, said an ANF Headquarters spokesman here on Thursday.
He informed that 800 grams ice was recovered from a Jeddah-bound passenger at Multan Airport.
52.8kg opium and 61.2kg hashish were recovered from a vehicle intercepted near North Bypass Peshawar and two accused were arrested during the operation.
In third operation, 48kg hashish was recovered from a parcel sent to Karachi from a courier office in Ring Road Peshawar.
18kg hashish was recovered from an accused rounded up near Chenab Toll Plaza, Gujarat. 4.8kg hashish was recovered from a drug pusher, arrested in Bahria Phase-IV, Islamabad.
2.4kg hashish was recovered from a drug dealer netted in Badami Bagh Lahore.
The investigations have been started to register cases under the Anti-Narcotics Act against the arrested accused.
