Bad weather: Eight Isb-Khi PIA flights canceled, 35 delayed

Karachi: Due to the recent rains and administrative problems in the country, eight flights of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) have been canceled on Thursday from Karachi and Islamabad airports, while 35 flights have been delayed.

According to the flight schedule, PIA flights PK301 and PK368 between Karachi Islamabad, PIA flights PK455 and PK456 between Karachi and Skardu, and four PIA flights PK601, PK602, PK605, and PK606 from Islamabad have also been canceled.

The arrival and departure of flights from Karachi to Dubai, Damascus, Muscat, Madinah, Jeddah, and Baghdad have been delayed by 1.5-2 hours.

The departure of PIA flight PK301 to Islamabad has been delayed by 1.5 hours and PIA flight PK302 to Lahore will be delayed by three hours at 11:00am.

Meanwhile, the departure of PIA Lahore-Karachi flights PK304 and PK305 have been delayed by 1.5 hours, Lahore to Dubai flight PK335 will depart one hour late, while Lahore to Muscat flight PK229 will be delayed by four hours and will depart at 2:15pm.

Flight PK189 from Lahore to Bahrain, with a delay of 4.45 hours, will depart at 11:30pm. Lahore to Skardu flight PK251 three hours, Jeddah ER801 two hours, Dubai PK216 2.5 hours, and Riyadh PK274 will depart with a delay of 2.25 hours.

Apart from this, delays of 1.5 to 2.5 hours have been reported in the arrival and departure of flights of Lahore, Sharjah, Dubai, Kuwait, Jeddah, and Muscat. Flights to and from Islamabad Muscat were delayed by 2.5 hours.

Islamabad to Kuala Lumpur flight PK894 will depart three hours late, Islamabad to Dammam flight PK245 will depart 2.5 hours late, PIA Sialkot Dammam flight PK243 will depart 2.5 hours late at 12:30pm. While the foreign airline flight SV795 from Multan to Jeddah will depart 2.5 hours late.
