Punjab sets minimum court fee at Rs10

Lahore: The Punjab government has announced a reduction in court fees.

After the approval of Governor Punjab Sardar Salim Haider, the Board of Revenue has issued a notification of a reduction in court fees.

According to the notification, a one-time court fee of Rs100 has been fixed for a certified copy of an order or decision from a civil court, while a one-time court fee of Rs500 has been fixed for a certified copy of an order or decision from a high court.

According to the notification, a one-time court fee of Rs500 has been fixed for a revision application to the Board of Revenue or Commissioners under the Punjab Tenancy Act 1887, while a one-time fee of Rs500 has been fixed for a revision application in the High Court under CPC Section 15.

Apart from this, the court fee has been reduced to Rs10 on applications in customs, excise, land revenue, and civil court cases with values less than Rs10,000, and the court fee on court revenue or rent application has been reduced from Rs500 to Rs10.
