Mohasin Naqvi claims KP CM Gandapur not arrested by any authority
Interior Minister says Gandapur fled from KP House
Islamabad: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday claimed that no agency has arrested Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur, adding that there is video evidence of him fleeing from KP House.
Speaking to the media after the funeral of a police officer who was killed during the PTI protest at D-Chowk, Naqvi stated that the officer had been critically injured and succumbed to his injuries today. He vowed that those involved in the murder of the officer would be brought to justice.
When questioned about the alleged arrest of Ali Amin Gandapur, Naqvi clarified, "The KP chief minister is not in our custody, nor is he in the custody of any other agency. He was not at KP House—he fled from there.”
Minister added that, “We conducted two to three raids suspecting he might be present, but he wasn’t there. We are unsure whether he has reached Khyber Pakhtunkhwa or not, but there is footage of him escaping from KP House."
