Nawaz Sharif expresses intent to meet Indian PM Modi soon

Islamabad: Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday expressed his intention to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the near future.
He shared this during an interview with Indian journalist Barkha Dutt.
Speaking about the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit, Sharif remarked, "It would have been better if Narendra Modi had personally visited Pakistan."
He highlighted the importance of the SCO summit, calling it an excellent opportunity to improve relations between Pakistan and India.
Meanwhile, praising Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif's speech at the United Nations (UN), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Nawaz Sharif said, "What’s the point of a United Nations that cannot enforce its own resolutions?"
Sharif also condemned the global silence on the atrocities against the innocent people of Palestine, stating, "It is heartbreaking to see the images of innocent children being subjected to brutality in Palestine."
