Tehran: Iran has denied any involvement in the killing of an Israeli religious leader in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Rabbi Zvi Kogan, who worked for an Orthodox Jewish organization, went missing in Dubai on Thursday and his body was later found on Sunday.
UAE authorities have arrested three people suspected of killing an Israeli religious leader.
According to Emirati media, the Ministry of Interior has confirmed in a statement that three people have been arrested on suspicion of killing Zvi Kogan.
The Emirati Ministry of Interior has not provided any information about the suspects arrested.
The Emirati Ministry of Interior stated that all legal powers will be used against any attempt to destabilize society.
Israeli and Emirati authorities have launched an investigation. The Israeli rabbi also had a passport from the European country of Moldova, and had traveled to Dubai using it.
