Terrorism cases against 75 PTI leaders including Bushra, Gandapur

Rawalpindi: A case has been registered against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder, his wife Bushra Bibi, former President Dr Arif Alvi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Omar Ayub, including several PTI leaders, under terrorism provisions.

A case has been registered against PTI leaders at the Nasirabad police station in Rawalpindi, in which 75 PTI leaders including Aleema Khan, Hammad Azhar, Asad Qaiser, and Shehryar Riaz have also been named.

The text of the case stated that Imran Khan incited the public to march in Islamabad during a meeting with party leaders in Adiala Jail on November 22, while Bushra Bibi incited the workers with a statement released on social media.

The text added that the accused blocked the roads as part of a conspiracy and obstructed the public. The accused attacked police officers with batons, glass, and stones.

A total of 16 sections, including terrorism, have been included in the case registered in Rawalpindi.
