PM says 'no' to protocol, security
Prime Minister Imran Khan Tuesday vowed not to attend any private function with protocol and security.
Taking to Twitter, the Premier said, “To save taxpayer money & avoid inconvenience to the public I will not be going to any private function with protocol & security,”
PM further said that, he was also reviewing protocol and security for ministers, governors and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Ministers to decide how can be expenditure and public inconvenience minimised.
Imran Khan further added that “Next week Cabinet will decide on a comprehensive policy in this regard. We will put an end to the colonial legacy of pomp & glory used to overwhelm the people.”
