Karachi: Three people were killed and one fire fighter sustained injuries following a fire that broke out at in a thread factory located in Baldia Town Sector 5 area of Karachi, GNN reported.

As per details, the blaze started due to short circuit and spread from ground floor, engulfing the three upper floors of the factory.
One snorkel and four fire brigade vehicles reached the spot and brought the fire under control which took approximately more than five hours.
Edhi medical teams also reached the spot amid the intensity of the fire and shifted the deceased to a nearby hospital.
