‘Pakistan Cricket Team made us all proud’; COAS felicitates ‘Green shirts’ on historic win

Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has congratulated the Pakistan cricket team for their outstanding performance and historic win against India by 10 wickets in ICC T20 World Cup match.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) turned to twitter and wrote, “COAS congratulates Pakistan Cricket Team for outstanding performance and comprehensive win against India in ICC T 20 World Cup Match”.
The statement further added, “Pakistan Cricket Team has made us all proud”.
The COAS quoted as saying that, “CJCSC & Services Chiefs congratulate Pakistan Cricket Team for historic win against India in ICC T20 World Cup”.
President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi also congratulated Pakistan cricket team over their 10 wicket victory against India in the T20 World Cup match.
“Congratulations Green Shirts. Total Wipeout. A win by 10 wickets. You make us proud. A good match,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Imran Khan, who is currently in Saudi Arabia, took to twitter and appreciated Pakistan cricket team for clinching a ten-wicket victory against India.
“Congratulations to the Pakistan Team & esp to Babar Azam who led from the front, as well as to the brilliant performances of Rizwan & Shaheen Afridi. The nation is proud of you all,” the caption read.
