Mini-budget would be approved from ongoing National Assembly session within three days

Islamabad: While responding to former premier Nawaz Sharif’s return, Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhrty said that Nawaz Sharif would not return voluntarily and it is the incumbent government that would bring him back.
Addressing a press conference along with National Security Adviser Moeed Yusuf, the information minister said, “We have lacunas in regulations for the deportation of criminals from the United Kingdom. They were in talks with Britain to address them.” He said that Nawaz Sharif will have to return to Pakistan and face cases against him.
Mini-budget to be approved from ongoing NA session
Fawad Chaudhry also mentioned that an initial debate was held on the mini-budget today and it would be discussed tomorrow. He added that the mini-budget would be presented in the current session of assembly.
He maintained that the mini-budget would be approved from the ongoing National Assembly session within three days. “I could not provide details on the mini-budget but its implementation would not affect the common man,” he added.
PDM not able to topple government
He rejected the impression that Imran Khan’s government would be toppled and said that the incumbent opposition is not able to topple the government.
“It is not in power of the PDM to topple the government as they don’t have a leader of Imran Khan’s stature who can oust a regime,” the minister said. He also rubbished the talk that the PDM could dislodge the government saying that ‘they don’t have a leader like Imran Khan who have the courage to remove a government.’
Muhammad Usman to be handed over to UAE
He further shared that the cabinet has approved to hand over two suspects to Italy while another suspect named Muhammad Usman would be handed over to UAE.
