‘Imran Khan’s new Pakistan is a state of cowards, thugs and greedy’: Reham Khan
Reham Khan said that her car was held at gunpoint when she was coming back from a wedding on Sunday night.
Islamabad: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan’s ex-wife Reham Khan has alleged that she was accosted by two unidentified men who opened fire at the vehicle she was travelling in on Sunday night.
On her official twitter handle, Reham Khan said that her car was held at gunpoint when she was coming back from a wedding on Sunday night.
Targeting her former husband over the attack, Reham Khan said Pakistan is a state of ‘cowards, thugs and the greedy’ under Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rule.
Though unscathed, former TV anchor said the incident had left her "outraged and concerned".
“On the way back from my nephew’s marriage my car just got fired at and two men on a motorbike held vehicle at gunpoint! I had just changed vehicles. My PS and driver were in the car. This is Imran Khan’s New Pakistan? Welcome to the state of cowards, thugs and the greedy,” Reham tweeted.
Reham Khan is a journalist of British-Pakistani origin. She was married to Imran Khan from 2014 to October 30, 2015.
