Police officer shot dead by his gunman in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: A police constable shot and killed his senior officer during duty at Pakora Stop Qasim Abad on Thursday.

The motive for the shooting is not yet known. Supect Abid Chandio opened fire on Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Faiz Dayo and fled initially. The victim was taken to a hospital where he succumbed to his wounds.

The suspect later got himself arrested by police. The body was handed over to the family after autopsy. 

The DSP belonged to Thal, Jacobabad. He was survived by widow, four sons and a daughter. The funeral prayer will be offerrd at Thal city.
