Woman establishes medical facility to help injured, stray animals in Faisalabad
Faisalabad: In a highly commendable move, a woman has established a hospital to treat injured and stray animals in the city.

Hailing from Scotland, the woman named Tahira Rasool has set up a medical facility to treat helpless stray animals who suffer injuries in road accidents and otherwise.
This hospital is the first of its kind for the treatment of animals in the city.
Speaking about her animal welfare organization, Tahira said that so far 30 animals have been rescued and released.
“Presently, we have more than 20 animals in the shelter undergoing treatment,” she added.
The hospital has all essential facilities to treat animals. There are six veterinary doctors, advanced and machinery and ambulances to rescue cats, dogs and other stray animals.
The doctor working at welfare organization said that after the animals are rescued, they are vaccinated as well.
Tahira is of the viewpoint that animals are unable to express their pain, anguish or suffering; therefore, it is the duty of every person to help them.
