Police are conducting raids to arrest the runaway suspects


Gujranwala/Dadu: Three robbers and a policeman were injured in three incidents on Friday, police said.
Four robbers riding two bikes came across Dolphin Squad officials near Model Town. An exchange of fire took place between two sides, leaving a suspect and Dolphin Squad official injured.
Three other suspects fled the scene. The injured was shifted to a hospital.
In Dadu, three robbers exchanged fire with the police on Goth Link Road in Radhan police limits. One of the suspests was injured and was arrested.
Suspect named as Mumtaz alias Makhnu Janwari is a notorious gangster. Police seized a weapon and a motorcycle from the spot. Other two suspects managed to escape.
According to the police record, the suspects was wanted by police in 15 cases of snatching, robbery, theft and police encounters.
Another robber Ameer Ali Khuskh was injured in crossfire with the Filji Station police in Dadu district. The suspect was wanted by police in at least 16 cases of bike snatching, robbery, theft and police encounters.
Ameer's three accomplices managed to escape. Police seized weapon and bullets from the spot.
Dadu SSP Irfan Ali Samu said police teams are raiding places to arrest the runaway suspects.
