Young man shot dead in Lahore's Shad Bagh

Lahore: A young man was killed allegedly by his friend in Shad Bagh area on early Wednesday, police said.

Victim Muhammad Adeel was riding a bike along with his unknown friend. The suspect fired at Adeel near Elahi Park and escaped.

Adeel died on the spot. Police shifted the body for autopsy and began invetsigation. The motive for the shooting is under investigation.

A man was tortured and strangled allegedly by his wife and sons in Tatlay Aali area of Gujranwala.

Police recovered the body of victim Ghulam Haider from a portion of the house. Prelimianry findings revealed that Kubra and her sons Abu Bakar and Jamal Mustafa killed Haider following domestic scuffles.

Police registered a case against the suspects who fled the scene.
