Police suspect not giving extortion led to grenade attack

Karachi: A man and his 10-year-old girl were injured after unidentified people hurled grenade at an empty plot in Behar Colony on Thursday, police said.
Police suspected the attack could be the outcome of not giving extortion. Altaaf and his daughter Emaan were shifted to Civil Hospital. The condition of the injured is said to be stable.
Police, Rangers and forensic experts gathered necessray evidence from the crime scene.
Police said Uzair Baloch, who is building property at the plot, has yet to lodge any complaint.
