Karachi: A third degree fire broke out in the basement of a chemical factory at Korangi Town area of Karachi on Friday (today), GNN reported.
According to details, the third-degree fire has continued to rage despite 14 fire brigades reached to the scene.
All fire tenders have been called from the city as five fire brigade vehicles are busy in trying to control the fire. Heavy clouds of black smoke could be seen billowing.
The cause of the blaze is unknown yet.
Police said that several people have been rescued from factory and go-down.
In the meantime, ranger’s personnel have also arrived at the site and started assisting the rescue teams to douse the fire.
