Report is just a doctor’s opinion and contains no record of Sharif’s health condition


A medical board of the Punjab government on Friday once again rejected former premier Nawaz Sharif’s fresh reports, terming it “incomplete”.
The nine-member board formed by the provincial government to examine the PML-N supremo’s medical record termed the medical report that has lately been submitted in the Lahore High Court (LHC) incomplete.
According to the quoted sources, the report is just a doctor’s opinion and contains no record of Sharif’s health condition. “No report of any credible lab or health facility is available on record to substantiate what Dr Fayaz Shawl stated about the former premier’s health,” it added.
The board has apprised the health department on its viewpoint about the fresh report.
Sharif’s fresh report was submitted to the LHC on Jan 28.
Earlier, the Punjab government had formed a medical board to examine former premier Nawaz Sharif’s medical reports. The board will examine Nawaz Sharif’s medical reports that have lately been submitted in the Lahore High Court (LHC) and furnish its finding within five days.
It was also reported that the Punjab government has forwarded the reports to the medical board.
It is pertinent to mention here that the reports written by Dr Fayaz Shawl were submitted to the LHC on Jan 28.
Earlier, Nawaz Sharif had been stopped from the travelling by the doctor, said medical report which submitted in the Lahore High Court (LHC).
In a three-page medical report of Nawaz Sharif presented to the LHC, it is said that the doctors have strongly recommended PML-N quid to not travel home as it may further deteriorate his health.
Presented by Advocate Amjad Pervaiz, the report penned by Dr Fayyaz Shawal said that Nawaz should not leave London before his angiography, continue his medications and walks with corona precautions. It said that Nawaz should conduct his day-to-day affairs without taking any mental stress.
The report said that Nawaz is under serious mental pressure especially after the demise of his wife, and that can exacerbate his illness. The doctor said that he can be contacted in case of any query in regards to the medical report.
