Opposition’s criticism on POL prices without alternative solution unjustified: Fawad
“They (Opposition leaders) should bring forth a ‘magic lamp,’ if they had any”.

Islamabad: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain Thursday called out the opposition for unjustified criticism on the increase of petroleum products’ prices.
On his official twitter handle, the Federal Minister stated that opposition is criticizing Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government over increasing petroleum prices.
The important aspect of any criticism is that you should provide some alternative solution, he added.
Fawad further added that the ruling government is forced to hike the petrol cost as the oil prices jumped to $95 per barrel from $60 in the international market.
Taking a jibe at the oppositions’ condemnation, the Minister stated, “They (Opposition leaders) should bring forth a ‘magic lamp,’ if they had any”.

The price of per litre petrol hit all-time high in Pakistan and crossed Rs150 for the first time in the history of Pakistan after Prime Minister Imran Khan approved Rs12.03 hike in its price.
It is pertinent to mention here that the hike was imminent after the Crude oil hit a seven-year high earlier this week.
Cost of other petroleum products have also been increased.
