Karachi man kills robber, injure another

Karachi: A robber was killed while another suffered injury after a citizen they robbed opened fire on them near Qalanaria Chowk in North Nazimabad on Thursday, GNN reported.

Police emergency responders rushed to the spot on an emergency call and shifted the body and injured to a state hospital.

Preliminary police inquiries showed that three goons were fleeing after robbing builder Kashan when one accused opened fire on Kashan.

Kashan responded fire at the suspects with a licensed 9mm pistol, killing one and injuring another. The third suspect managed to escape.

The exchange of fire between the suspects and the citizen left a car hit by bullets.

Police are checking the criminal records of the accused. The deceased has been identified as Khurramullah while the other injured accused has been named as Tanveerullah
