Islamabad police arrest JUI-F MNA, others during operation at parliamentary lodges
Senator Karman Murtaza is also injured in alleged police torture

Islamabad: Islamabad police raided the Parliamentary Lodges in the federal capital on Thursday night and arrested Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) MNA Salahuddin Ayyubi and Ansaarul Islam members.
Senator Kamran Murtaza was also injured in police operation.
Earlier, federal police decided to conduct an operation inside the Parliament lodges.
Media personnel were directed to leave the lodges while MNA Salahuddin Ayubi of the Ansar ul Islam was arrested along with other members of the party.

Shortly afterwards, Ayubi’s staff and police personnel started a clash. Several parliamentarians of the PPP and PML-N were also present in the lodges at the time of the lodge, while JUI's Maulana Fazlur Rehman had also reached the venue.
During a scuffle between police and Ayubi’s staff at Parliament lodges, PML-N leader Khawaja Saad Rafique was injured when his foot hit the door.
Islamabad police chief Muhammad Ahsan Younus took notice of the group's presence inside the lodges.
According to a tweet posted from their official account, he suspended the police officials in charge at D-Chowk under whose watch the Ansarul Islam workers had entered the lodges, Subsequently, he took charge of the operation.
