Peshawar: Ziaur Rehman, brother of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman, has appeared before the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) today.

According to details, Ziaur Rehman is facing allegations of assets beyond income, misuse of power and illegal appointments.
Earlier on January 23, NAB-Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) had summoned Ziaur Rehman along with former chief secretary Sahibzada Riaz Noor, former secretary governor Ahmed Hanif Orakza and former secretary establishment Sahib Jaan.
NAB is also investigating into the illegal inclusion of Fazlur Rehman’s brother in KP Provincial Management Service (PMS) in 2007.
It is pertinent to mention here that the anti-corruption watchdog has launched two separate inquiries against JUI-F Chief Fazlur Rehman.
