Lahore: Seven people were killed and four other injured on Thursday in two separate road accidents in Sahiwal and Okara.

Road accidents in different cities of Punjab claimed the lives of seven people.
Four people were killed after a truck collided with a tractor in Sahiwal. The truck driver fled from the area following the accident. The driver of a truck fell asleep at the wheel striking a tractor trolley near Chichawatni.
In another unfortunate incident, three people including a child lost their lives while four other including two women sustained injuries when they were hit by a truck in Okara.
Rescue teams and police reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital.
Earlier in March, two people were killed and 22 others sustained injuries in separate road mishaps on Khanewal motorway and M9 motorway near Noori Abadi in Hayederabad.
