Security beefed up in Supreme Court premises
SSP security Dr Khurram has also reached the apex court along with the security personnel
Islamabad: Amid the ongoing hearing in the Supreme Court of Pakistan against the NA deputy speaker’s ruling about the dismissal of the no-confidence motion a sudden high-security alert has been issued.
According to details, a security alert has been issued in the Supreme Court premises and additional security personnel have been called as the court is due to announce the verdict today.
Police have taken up positions in the Supreme Court premises while federal police officers have also reached the court premises.
Besides, SSP security Dr Khurram has also reached the apex court along with the security personnel.
In this regard, police officials said that security has been beefed up in view of the increasing number of political stalwarts affiliated with the parties.
