Opposition leaders praise shower on the Supreme Court's decision

Islamabad: Mainstream opposition parties have welcomed the verdict of the Supreme Court of Pakistan and announced to mark Friday as the "Day of Gratitude".
Pakistan Democratic Movement chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Leader of Opposition in the National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif told reporters outside the Supreme Court that the top court had added more prestige to the institution after announcing the historic joint verdict.
Shehbaz said now all matters would be resolved amicably.

Other Opposition leaders like Maryam Nawaz and Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari also welcomed the SC's verdict.
"Thanks to Allah Almighty! Many many congratulations to the nation as the Constitution ruled. The lawbreakers are buried forever. May Allah bring more shine to Pakistan. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Insha'Allah," Maryam said in a tweet.
