Last day of voting on no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Islamabad: Session of the National Assembly (NA) will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday (Aril 9).
According to the Supreme Court verdict, voting on no-confidence motion against the Prime Minister Imran Khan is also on the agenda.
NA Speaker Asad Qaiser could not take up agenda other than voting on no-trust move and if he won’t do so, he is most likely to face contempt of court proceedings.
In the meantime, a strict security has been put in place in Islamabad and the Red Zone has been sealed to deter any untoward incident.
According to Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry, the government will present the ‘threatening’ cable or its contents in the assembly and will ask the speaker for a debate on the issue.
Moreover, a showdown is expected between the government and opposition over the no-confidence motion against Imran Khan.
