According to details, Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi has dismissed senior ministers including Sardar Tanveer Ilyas, Abdul Majid Khan, Ali Shan Soni, Khawaja Farooq and Akbar Ibrahim.
The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir has also issued a formal notification for the dismissal of the ministers.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan had approved a no-confidence motion against Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi. Following which he was most likely to be replaced by Sardar Tanveer Ilyas as PM candidate.
In this regard, Imran Khan has directed all PTI MLAs that the Assembly will convene on April 15.
The motion was submitted by Ali Shan Soni, Akbar Ibrahim and Majid Khan.
