"People faced difficulties due to flawed planning."

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has directed to complete the projects of public interest in a timely manner.
He made the remarks whilst reviewing the construction work on the Rawal Chowk Flyover project in Islamabad this morning.
The Prime Minister regretted that a blacklisted company was awarded the contract for the project. He directed to hold an inquiry into it through a third party. He noted that the work on the project, which was started in October 2020, could not be completed yet due to the inability of the company.
The Prime Minister recalled that such projects used to be completed in a matter of six months in the past. He said that people faced difficulties due to flawed planning.
Shehbaz Sharif further directed to complete the Rawal Chowk Flyover project by September this year and that no compromise be made on its quality.
