The fire brigade and aid teams failed to reach the affected villages on time and took more than eight hours to extinguish the deadly fire


Dadu: In an unfortunate incident, at least nine people including four children were burnt alive, while several others sustained injuries after a horrific blaze engulfed at least 120 homes in different places— following a dust storm that hit Tehsil Mehar and Tehsil Khairpur Nathan Shah of District Dadu in Sindh province.
According to details, all the homes in a two villages were gutted in the massive fire while 25 homes in nearby village Saleh Machi were also destroyed.
The deceased have been identified as Mour (4), Abdul Rasool (5), Tehmina (6) and Sakina (8).
Rescue teams reached the spot after getting information and shifted the deceased and injured to a nearby hospital.
