Ehsan Mazari’s portfolio changed from Human Rights to Inter-Provincial Coordination


Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif Thursday withdrew the portfolio of foreign affairs from Tariq Fatemi a day after appointing him as his special assistant on foreign affairs, and he also approved a change in the portfolio of Federal Minister Ehsan Mazari from Human Rights to Inter-Provincial Coordination.
According to details, the federal government has also issued a notification in this regard. Tariq Fatemi will continue to serve as special assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM), the notification read.
He has also been granted the additional status of a minister of state, according to the new notification.
Earlier, the notification of his appointment as special assistant to the prime minister on foreign affairs did not grant him the status of a minister of state.
On the other hand, a notification for change in the portfolio of Federal Minister Ehsan Mazari from Human Rights to Inter-Provincial Coordination has also been issued after approval from the prime minister.
