Woman killed, 13 injured in Karachi blast
The explosive material was planted in a motorcycle.
Karachi: A bomb explosion took place near Kharadar area of Karachi on Monday evening, leaving one woman dead and 13 people injured, including policemen.
The blast occurred near the MA Jinnah road area of Karachi, and reportedly, the target of the blast was a police mobile.
According to preliminary investigation, the explosive material was planted in a motorcycle.
Security forces and rescue teams rushed to the site and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital, where several among the injured were said to be in a critical condition.
The area around the blast site was densely populated and a heavily frequented business hub of the city.
