Karachi: The Pakistani rupee continues to appreciate against the US dollar. The value of the US dollar has reached the lowest level of the year.

The US Dollar has decreased on the second day – Tuesday of the trading week in the interbank market.
According to the data released by the State Bank of Pakistan, the dollar has decreased by 28 paisas in the interbank market.

According to Forex dealers, the dollar depreciated from Rs157.00 to close at Rs156.72 in the interbank market.
On March 9 last year, the dollar was at Rs 156.58, after which it reached its highest level of Rs168.43.
The dollar has depreciated 7 per cent since August 2020.
